sorry guys.......
anyways as I was saying......One of the guys that was there had just put on dual runners and the thing turned like it was on rails while all of us were just plowing....what have any of you guys used with good results. I trail ride mostly but would like decent control on ice if at all possible.

Studboy shaper bars
I am a big woodys fan (run alot of their equipment) but dislike the doolys when compared to the shaperbars. These things rock, they track and bite as well or better than my freinds doolys on a 02 600 pantera.
I have the 9" carbide, im not messin around with my turning!!, I need all that bite with a light front end and tons of traction out back. Go with the shaperbars, you wont be dissapointed. BTW, go as large carbide as you can, extra traction is great, but if you dont have studs, then not a good idea cuz there wud be too much traction and the sled would be unequal.

go to the arctic cat dealer and buy the offset duallys from a zr900 or a firecat, you will have to do a little work to make them fit correctly but it is worth it. all the advantages of the dualy with non of the side effects.
you will have to move one of the studs on the top or if you have older metal backer skis drill one hole.
they track great and dont pack with ice like reg dualies

I put 6" shaper bars on mine..and wow...what a difference...I had the old
stock ones on with 144" studs...it'd always push...but with these...I can
actually put more transfer back on the rear and still be able to go in and
come outta corners with confidence...I was thinking of goin dualies...but
heard different opinions...Oh...after purchasing mine...I thiink Snowteck did
an article and praised the shapers...and I have heard of the Bergstrom Skegs...but
opted to purchase at my local dealer...
good luck
