chain case lower bearing puked today [lukey it was in the yard] . just ordered a ceamic bearing to replace it . hope it lasts mutch longer than 4400 mi #$%&*

What kind of venture do you have?

Also, tried replacing mine but changed my mind on it because the work to eb done was too involved, so when my track needed to be replaced, just had the dealer change those bearings while they were at it. Saved me from a big headache..

Just replaced my bearing in lower chaincase also(and other 3 just cause),there is an oil seal that goes behind the lower chaincase bearing that the drive shaft slides into.Dealer said it would be a few days to order so i went to napa and they cross referenced it with a crank seal off some type of vehicle and i had it the next day. If you have the inner and outer race of the bearing, bring it to a bearing dealer and you will save alot of money. 1 bearing at yamaha= $47.10.......3 bearings at canadian bearing= $47.69. To get the outer race out of the chaincase i used a huge socket and a deadblow hammer and it came out like nothing. When you go to install, put the bearing in the freezer and warm the chaincase and it will go in easy.

Fortuna, what kind of roller secondary do you have? I have been curious about these for a while with my 700.I asked Turk about the kits and he has not worked with the kits from Maximum or Pioneer at all.Curious for your experiences on this.

Seems odd to me that the lower chain case bearing would fail - it has a constant supply of fresh lube - the chain case oil. I just replaced my track. Sled has 6000 mi. Both chaincase bearings were good, but I did put new seals in the back.

i got the hauck set up as i got the sled from pat. wife said she would go , so i got a two up. now she rarey goes. this thing goes great . about the same at half throttle on mine, as a vector at full throttle, on the trail . i rarley use full throttle on the trail. alos has 911 pri cover,ex manifold spacer for more low end power, tepa flow, clutched for 8000. no need for triple pipes

You are clutched for 8000 on a yamaha triple?

Interesting, mine turns 8500 and thats where I thought it was supposed to be?I have never heard of a manifold spacer, goes between head and manifold?
