I guess they have to say that dont they, unless itd just by ho hum to unveil some new sleds without any pumping the crowd up.
Im anxious to see how they fare with their fourstroke (if any), against the yamaha.

can make a 4-stroker.

if they come out with a big 4stroke to compete with the apex i bet it will be faster than the apex

I bet your right it will compete.When ever cat comes out with a new engine it's usually the fastest or very competetive.
I ride once in a while with some cat guys and some of my other buds and I have a running joke about how fast a cat will go.It seems that whenever these guys let it rip down a lake or where ever all we hear about is how the speedo needle is "Wrapped right around to the c in Cat".Well I was just about full of all the bs I could handle one day and commented loud enough for all to hear that I was going to have to buy me one of those Cat speedos because mine wasn't reading that fast and I was ahead of them.Now when my friends and I get together to bench race we all say that wev'e got a Cat speedo on order just so we can go fast.It was funny at the time and it shut the bull shitters up.
