where are yamaha sleds made?

does anybody know where yamaha sleds are built? i called canada customs about importing a nitro into canada. the guy on the phone said that there would be no duty or tarrif charges as long as the sleds are built in canada, usa or mexico. the sled is $4000 canadian less in new york state that they are in canada. so are yamys built in north america or shipped over from japan?

They're made in Shizouka Japan, you'd have to pay the duties.

You should have no problem bringing it over, but warranty might be an issue.

Didnt you ever notice that every Yamaha sled has a little sticker on the tunnel that says, "Made In Japan"?
