I noticed on my 04 Viper S that the upper mount for the rear shock is very close to the track, appears to hit at times. This is the part of the track where it bends at the rear upper idler wheels. The inside of the track has a slight rub mark right down the middle, I can't even stick my finger between the track and the shock mount. The wheels are ok , is this normal? Thanks.

this is normal on all proaction rear suspensions.Watch what happens if ya run studs close to the center.they beat up the end of the shock.

Thanks
Thanks for the replys, I feel better about it now.I also got to looked at my buddies SRX and it is the same way too. You'd think they would have designed it with a little more room. I just installed a new track and that closeness between the track and the suspension made me nervous.
