Sled has Goodwins performance clutch kit in it. SLP can. 144 studs. Shifting at 8000 right now. Pulls pretty hard. Could I be a bit low though?? THanks.

On long run you should be at 8600 to 8700..

If you pull the SLP, it might gain a couple hundred R's right there. The can loses some power.

if you are losing power you aren't going to gain r's

So are you guys saying that the SLP muffler is worse than running the havy stock muffler??? What should this sled shift at from a dead stop, pinning it until she's wound out??? What is stock RPM supposed to be???

Anywhere from 8400-8600,that is where the viper makes its full power, and the can sounds nice but you do lose performance.

Back pressure,The yamie is pretty much maxed in stock form, unless you triple pipe it.You can clutch it to make a lot of better performance.

Just got off the phone with Goodwin and they want to see the revs on that motor at about 8250 for max performance. The can will lose you weight----he claims that SLP can won't hurt me too bad if at all. He claims other cans have had issues with power loss, though!!
