Can anyone tell me the normal amount of shims that are supposed to be on the secondary clutch? It seems to have thin and thicker ones together. Is there anyway to tell the amount needed by looking at the clutches? Also what number holes is the spring supposed to be in for a factory black spring and helix. Thanks

put your year and make of sled in your Avatar.
do you have feeler gauges??
if so there should be around .02-.04 in. of play in the shims.

Unforutnatly no feeler ga. but theres supposed to be some play I take it. The secondary does make a clinging washer noise when opened up or opened up over a bump or something...thats why I was questioning the amount of shims.Any more input would be great. Thanks
