Replaced a piston this week. Good side had about 125 psi with the stock .64" head gasket. New side had about the same with the new head gasket, which is .32" Seems to me it should be higher... I'll check them both again when I get a chance tonight... but I would appreciate it if someone who knows would post what the compression PSI should be for this sled... I couldn't find it in the tech pages.

If yor talking about 125,,,that may be a little low.

my '98 has 130 (warm) on both.( all stock)

On my 98 twin, the comp is 140. I have the .6mm head gasket and elevation of 3000'.

So is this on your new rebuild? Have you even run it yet?

yeah, new rebuild... but dry... and not run.. so the rings haven't had a chance to seat yet either... the head is off it at the moment so as soon as I have it all buttoned up again I'll re-check.
