RE: Camoplast finger track # 9871M

Hey guys, I bought one of these tracks for my mmax, I drag race it in 1/8 mile dragging, It is now cut even at 2.0 inches, do you think I would still get good hookup and more speed if I cut it down to 1.75 or 1.5" ?? anyone try this with a finger track?

I run that track in the 151 version in the grass drags in 500 ft
I trimmed it down to a 2 inch and it hooks up great they say it is the best
track for grass drags in the mountain class you may want to check the
rules in your area and see if you are able to trim tracks. by just cutting that one finger down to 2 inches they will never know but by going more
they may say somthing

I race in the Modified Class and anything is allowed, i still want good hookup on packed snow, but need more speed at the finish line, this is where they all start to catch me.
