I was hoping someone could help me out I am replacing my bulkhead I know I need a air riveter but can someone tell me what to buy for a GOOD RESONABLY priced air rivet gun or how about anyone have one for sale and how about some personal experiences with doing this Thanks alot for any info! 
I personally dont have much experience with air riviters but you might try a rental place that rent tools and try the type(s) they have and narrow down your choice from there.
I swapped mine out and used a hand pop rivet gun. It took about a half day to do and the one thing to look out for is there are blind rivets that are behind the tie rod boots that need to be removed to get the bulk head out.
Harbor Freight Has reasonably priced rivet guns.

As far as air rivet guns, try McMaster Car. Although they are all expensive. I just picked up a beast of a hand riveter from Grainger called the "Big Daddy" for $150 and that thing will just about do anything an air one will.
If you can spend the $$ on a air/hyd. rivet gun, they pull the rivets tighter then a hand unit will, only becuase the air /hyd.rivet gun yanks them in 1 quick motion and the hand one works off the press motion and takes 1 - 2 pumps before breaking the pin and seating rivet. plus I am lazy and the air/hyd. one is easy.....LOL!!!
You can get a decent one at harbor freight for like $50-70, they are the tool for bulkhead swaps, tunnel extensions, general riveting of sleds with the large rivets.

hey yeah i got into a wreck last year with my 2000 sxr 600 and i had to replace the bulkhead i used a air riveter and i jus did this lik begining of december but i just barrowed it from my schools tech department. i am 15 and i did all the work to my sled. i started at about 4pm and i had all of my riveting done by supper time around 7pm(thats puttin back together) and them i had to mount the shocks,skis, etc. air riveters arent hard to use at all and r rather nice. um im not sure if u got rivets or not yet but i bought mine from napa and i had to get 2 different size so it ran me about $35 um i do hav like 150 rivets left cause i had to order the smaller ones so if u still need rivets pm me and i might beable to get you the ones i hav left over

Ace Hardware sells 3/16" snowmobile rivets relatively cheap.
