My 02 Viper with re-valved shocks from Pioneer is still killing me in the bumps. Should I just get a 121 M-10, or do a 136 extension? It looks like the M-10 is a pain to put in, but I have a brand new this year Camo 9860 1 1/4 track that I love.
If I do a 136 extension, I need to buy another track. And I'm a little worried that it would push in the corners then.
I don't know, anyone have any input?

Buy a Rev... everyone says they ride great in the bumps! LOL!!!

NOT!!! I will vouch for the comfort of an SRX seat... they seem a bit more cushy and comfortable tham my V Max seat for sure... I've thought about finding one for my sled...

Ridesrx, with the re-valve shocks from pioneer what exactly did they do??
The re-valve did nothing to improve your ride??....i have found with a really soft spring setting on the rear shock and FRA on the soft setting and more spring preload on the center with a tighter couple on the rear rods to be getting closer to a smoother ride...front ski springs with less preload as well.....CP

I second the soft FRA setting, but I like to keep the gap large on the top of the transfer rods to keep the suspension from coupling I think it give a plusher ride.
If I going to ride hard and jump lots I adjust less gap for it to couple quicker.
It is tough but I will NEVER go back to a short track (121")

M-10 isn't difficult to install. You just need to review the instructions until your sure you know what you need to do and take your time. Old Grey had a 136" M-10 in his Viper at the Muni ride and look great! He said the skid ate the bumps up!
I've said it before the M-10 is the single best mod I've done to my sled. My only regret is going 121" instead of 136"

I have the 2004 pleated Viper seat on mine. Much better comfort level. I am interested in the RA skid from Bender but haven't heard enough positive feedback yet. Ohlins in the rear is another option.

Well, I'm still undecided. I'm leaning towards extending to 136. If I can find a good used 136 1 1/4 track I'll do that. I'm lookin for parts. :o|

Come on. Your kidding about the sarcasm right. The Rev is the best compared to a Viper. My god. They ride like crap in the bumps. I've owned 2 and will never ride a proaction skid again. I now own an '04 Rev 600 and an Apex and the Rev is still better in the bumps. It has 5k miles on it so the Apex engine feels great in comparison. There is no comparison in the bumps though.....

Me? Sarcastic? Come on. You're kidding right?

I think the bender ra seems a good choice. I was going to extend, but the lack of super sharp cornering scared me away
