chaincase level in 95 vmax

Does this thing suppose to have dipstick in it somewhere? Or how do I find out how much chainlube is in it?
I don't see anything besides a filler plug at the top.

While I'm at it...is there a way to repack the exhaust on these? 500 seems a little steep for a new muffler.

No dipstick. There is a bolt with a 10mm head and a gasket that you remove and the oil should just dribble out when the level is correct. It's on the chain case about 2" - 3" up from the bottom. The drain is also on the same side of the case all the way at the bottom. It has a gasket under the screw head as well.
The exhaust cannot be repacked.
