Which way do u put the power valves back in, is it picture 1 the way its pictured facing up when putting it in.
Or is it picture 2 the way its pictured facing up when putting it in.

yep 100% sure.i dont post info if i'm uncertain easy way to remember is td=taper down.or if you just look at the angle and put the angle down.

i know what you mean though on my 1st one long time ago i was like crap what way and luckly i had a service manual to double check.

I asked the same question, taper down to clear piston I believe.

The taper is down to be flush with the exhaust port.

Rich, 2000 and others are right (of course) but just to make sure for the casual reader . . .

The first pic is the side that goes up. Rich indicated the second pic, but I think he meant that side goes down.

I give up on looking for it, had to buy it would You belive they cost $18 can.

When i Checked on my order the other day they said it wouldnt be in unntil the end of Feb Probably, but i could get it the next day for an extra $10..dummy me i did it of course just because i really needed it fast.
i kind of know already that i got ripped off.

yup as 2000srx said the bevel goes down to sit flush with the top of the exhaust port (smooth exit for the gases)
