I had the expert installed by a snowxer who mounted the bracket on the inside. The seat is sweet with the exception of long trips. thanks guys

what is bad about the seat on long trips? I always thought those seats looked funky without the hump at the back. just so used to stock I guess lol! looks great all around!

The boss seat gives the same concept as a motocross seat. It starts out wide and gets narrow towards the top. I gained a 1.5 inch rise with the seat (notice its equal height to the gas cap) which makes it more comefortable for my riding style standing up. this seat breaths alot better than stock and does not bind in super cold conditions. the bars are stock with rox 2 inch riser. If you have an expert then the rox treads are a must have. They are wider and execellent traction for feet. when the sled transfers feet don't slide off.

P.S. if you run a expert on an srx you must long travel the front some how. I used the longer mount brackets i bought from ebay.

I also noticed that you have the tank/map bag combo on. How does it work with the seat being higher, I also have the tank bag on my sled and was thinking of getting a boss seat.

I didn't think the tank bag would work, but it has the adjustable straps that makes it long enough to compensate for the additional 1.5 rise.
