add the numbers and then times 10.
#3 on the helix and #3 on the clutch = 6x10=60

The quickest and easiest way to get it done without spending money on a tool is to invite a snowmobiling buddy over for a beer and then start talking clutches. Have the clutch laying on the work bench before he gets there. $10 says that before the first beer is gone you'll have the clutch adjusted. Don't wait until the 12-pak is gone to ask him to give you a hand though (speaking from experiance) because that will probably make the job much harder than if you did it youself without having a beer or two or three...
you just take the secondery clutch of, one bolt.. then take the helix of three nuts.. then you put the spring in the right holes for what twist you want, 80 is number 6 in helix and number 2 in the clutch.. then twist it clockwise to get it to enter the three bolts and then you put it all back and you are ready to go! takes about ten minutes for you.. very easy to do!!

Yup, easy to do. We've done it on the side of the trail with minimal tools.

Yup yup yup.
I think it's easier to do the helix with the secondary on the sled.

What does adding or removing twist from the spring do?
adding twist gives you more bachshift and higher rpms.. if you run it to loose your belt will slip...

Sometimes it's hard depending on the spring! Here's what I do: Take the belt off and jamb it behind the secondary (inbetween the secondary and chassis) so the inner sheave doesn't move on you.
