Can I put Viper Ohlins on the front of an 01 SRX and what else needs to be changed to do this?
Also, Can the reverse from a Viper be put in an SRX?

Viper Ohlins have the clevis mount I believe. You may be able to do what ReaperSRX did to his Viper shocks. Put the clevis mount in a vise and push them together and bolt them up to the SRX. I think he had to do a little grinding also. I don't think reverse off a Viper will work on a SRX. You have to use the SX kit.

you can use srx shocks on a viper with sx brackets, it will set low and you will need to set the clickers high and the preload high as well. i ran them on mine last year for a while till someone bought them. sled didnt ride as good as the long travel ohlins but it did handle like a slot car. when i changed back i was glad to have them back.
as far as the vipers on srxes, this is far from the recomended way to long travel a srx. if your just trying to raise the front you can use viper bodies and srx/sx shafts to give you 1 1/2in longer shock. bracket flip will give you another inch.
also to put the sx brackets on the viper you will need to drill and tap a hole in each side of the frame.

Hauck sells brackets to bolt viper shocks up to an SRX, kinda pricey though. They are also adjustable. Are you planning on long traveling it?
