Does anyone remember how many parts the kit contained?
There was the adjuster thing with a screw, a bushing and a bolt? anything else?

When I put it on, how many shims are there supposed to be behind the secondary?
thanks

no screws or shims in the back of the clutch, you take out the screws and shims, so the deflection tool can open and close the secodary to adjust the deflection.

you should have got an adjuster with a binding screw, and a spacer that is shorter than the stock spacer. the person may have sent you a spare secondary bolt they had (if you bought it used).

pull off secondary removing all shims that space the secondary to the jackshaft, install adjuster and secondary, and then adjust the deflection. after this is done check your offset if it isnt close you may want to add spacers to the back of the secondary (spacing the secondary out from the jackshaft) to get a better offset. when you add the deflection tool, you lose the "floating" clutch thing. ski

I've had the thing before but I didn't remember a bit... but I remember that the bigges benefit was that you could easily adjust away the belt squeeling in seconds compared to removing the 3 bolts and adding or substracting a spacer..

norwegian, thats what it is solving, the shim thing? that would be great, I HATE taking those out lol!

Yes, that's what it solves. When the tip of the bolts wear, the shimming thing becomes more difficult because nothing is to spec anymore..
