78 SRX info

Hey just picked up another '78 SRX. Was just wondering if anyone elses 78 has aluminum front and rear bumpers, our other 78 does not, and the ones on this one look like the 77 style. Any one knows anything about this let me know, thanks alot and remember to bleed blue

The 78 SRX came with the same short aluminum front bumper as the 76-77 SRX. The rear bumper is aluminum also. Jeff Wurl

Thanks, we have another 78 and it doesnt have those bumpers on, we didnt know why

dude, because it was changed. i bought a 1978 srx brand new, had short bumper!! 3:16 (tony)

the bumpers were usualy removed after they were beat, bent or broke, which didn't take much.
