Have just been and tested my piped viper and belive it or not but I raced against 2 mach z 1000 and they did not kick my ***!!! Distance was aprox 1500ft and we were side by side from start to finish :) :yam: I'm HAPPY!

Wow!! Very impressive!!

My viper is fast but I think it says more about the mach z... Thinking if i have had so much money to spend on a sled I would have bought me a apex and with even more money I would have turbo charged it. Maybe sounds rare but I feel with the mach z 1000 owners.

Have been an measured the distance we raced yesterday and it was a little bit longer than I tought... it was 2500 ft! I'v also talked to one of the z owners today and he told me that he never had tought that my viper was competetive to his z, it was almoust that he didnt belive what he experienced yesterday. If I have had a better track instead of my stock 2002 track I think maybe I have beat them both.

yeah i raced a new mach with my clutched and piped viper i also have 1.5 track.... i was ahead by about 7 sled lengths until about 80 then he passed me. i knew i would lose on top but never thought id demolish him out of the hole.... we usually ride ditches and curvy rivers so he didnt have a chance of keeping up

Just ran my buddies new Mach z 1000 on my bender piped viper! I'm running 1 1\4 track 192 studs. We had perfect hard pack conditions. I could pull him out of the hole no problem 3-4 lengths to about 70 mph them he would really run me down hard. I had nothing for him top end, but the first 600' , SEE YA ! I also rode it quite a bit on the trails i shook and buzzed like an old John Deer tractor. He could not beleive how smooth my viper was. Corner to corner he could'nt touch me.

I agree with you about that john deer tractor. I know the z is a lake runner (walker) :) and not has a suspension set up for cross but I was really supriced how terrible the z handled. Lead heavy on stearing and bottoms out in the smallest bumbs. It reminded me of my 95 vmax4 exept from the rider posission and that it sounds like a ex570.

Your shitting me. What are the odds, I have a piped Viper. I'm gonna go race someone..hehehehe

Think the odds are pretty good if your viper has a good set up and if the mach z is stock. I pm "mrviper700" about my set up and he told me that I'l probebly looses top speed with that silver secondary and that a green would be better. I'v also spoke with one of the z guys yesterday and he told me that he had raced a 2002 srx last season and that the srx was the faster than him. I can tell you that he is not a happy guy.. He was talking about som knock sensor issues and changing the clutch set up and hoped that this would make a difference for his z.

Knock sensor problems? Now that's the second baddest thing you can have on a sled, after electrical problems. I had knock sensor problems, but then I jetted up. No more.
