Rolled chain case in a short track?

has anyone rolled there chain case in a yamaha short track. i want to get more clearence to run larger track. the only problem that i can see is that if i did roll the chain case i would have to move the rear skid back as well, because of the front W arm being so close to the drivers? Just wondering if anyone has tried thia and has any imput?
