Could anyone tell me if 2002 700sx viper shocks and springs can be installed into a 98 700sx, and if it is worth the effort? Also the exact details on how to do this?
I have heard of allot of people complaining of the viper ride.
Thanks for info.

do a search on this site, there are tons of posts on this.
My 01 vmax has viper shocks all around. Shocks are new from factory in 2004. The suspension is much better now in my opinion.

ok, here we go, first need longer limiter staps, second you'll need different bottem spacers for the weight transfer. next you need viper bushings for the front. you also have to remove any shock bracket that is on you sled (if it has one) then that bushing goes in the bulkhead then thats where you mount the viper shock upsidedown. all the parts required you can get thruogh maxximum performance. just telll them what you need, all the parts are just viper parts. it will bolt right in.

Is it worth the effort? What about all of the complaining about the viper having a terrible ride? I am an aggresive trail ride, but some days just feel like looking at the trees.
