Electric Shield Hook-up

I have a 1999 srx 600. Where do I connect the wires for my electric shield on my helmet? It will probably go up in flames if I do it myself. LOL
Any help would be appreciated.

Use the brake light wire and then ground it.
There is nothing to it.

I was going to mount the plug by my gages in the hood. Could I use the head light power or would that cause the light to go dim?

I think the easiest spot to cut in would be in by you brake lever. This was you have to run you wire too far. Do a search on this though someone will explain the best method possible. I could make it work but honestly do not have a heated shield.
