Is there anyway to raise the front end of a viper to make it a little higher. Viper belly's out easy and it drives me nuts. Seems like if she had an extra inch or two she would be good. Thanks for any help.

Bottom out?? The suspension is compressed and it hit the ground or it just doesn't have enough ground clearance period?

My Viper front suspension is very loose, and never bottomed out. I know if I stiffen my springs I get more ground clearence, but one hell of a rough ride! I will admit that Yamaha Suspensions were very stiff (not the new ones)
I also think if you were to raise your suspension (modifying parts) your machine would be unstable in the corners. I think!

Not bottoming out sorry but bellying out. I am thinking that if I let my shocks down a bit that she will float better. Hopefully.
Thanks.

The only logical way to raise it is to set it up like a Viper mountain by narrowing your ski stance. As for floatation, buy a set of saddless mountain skis from Yamaha. I paid $103.00 cdn each for them. I have a Venture that i put them on and wowzers what a difference. You can use your own loops and carbides. Do a search I've posted the part #'s on here before. If you can't find them pm me. Good to see another newf. Oh by the way set your ski shocks on the soft side and crank up your center shock a bit to take off some ski pressure if you're going playing in the fluffy stuff. make sure you have a reasonable amount of tranfer. It will keep her from plowing. Check your limiters too make sure they are not sucked up. i know that this goes against some of the mountain guys but it works for me.
