So i am looking for anything i would need to longtrack to 136", complete skid if possible from MountainSRX(don't need shocks or transfer rods) or just seperate parts to piece together, 136" rails or rail extensions, tunnel extension, hoses etc..........Reaper

If you aren't already, keep a eye on eBay. There are full skids on there all the time and go for very reasonable prices. Soc ;)!

reap, go with full rails or tracks usa's billet rails (they use the full length 136 hyfax) they are like 80.00 then buy mountain max rear hose covers (they are made in blue and black depending on years) then goto napa and buy the hoses, grape ape knows the numbers off his head. then really all you'll need to buy is the tunnel ext and i recommend asking maxximum perf if theirs will work on an srx tunnel as it allows you to use the srx cooler. then get some rivets and goto town. you can do it in an afternoon. ski

A buddy of mine picked up a tunnel extension from Bruce at Tracks USA. Got a heck of a deal. Apparently he has a batch that have one hole punched in the wrong spot so he's looking to move them. I think he paid $25 for it brand new.

i had a friend get one of bruce's tunnel ext and it didnt fit and needed alot more accys bought from the dealer to make it works, he sent it back and bought another brand. buy the rail ext from tracks the are awesome pieces, but buy your tunnel ext from a yamaha only performance company ie; maxximum performance, hartman, or mountain perf. (mountain per make maxx ext's). just my .02. i have my srx done, and for me i have it close to perfect for my style of riding. if you need help i can try. to help you over the net some more. ski

Hey Ski, i was thinking of the rails extension from Track USA, hopefully i can find and Canadian distributor, i have i line on a 136 RipSaw, so i guess i just need tunnel extention and hoses and like you said the MMax hose covers....oh and a lot of rivets!, so you would recommend the rails extensions..........Reaper

yes i would the tracks ones are nice. you'll have to file the extens to get them to fit (they are tight) but that is what you want and need, as you dont want a rail ext to move or be loose at all. the shipping wont be too bad if you can get bruce from tracks to send it via u.s mail. if it goes ups or fed ex the taxes and tariffs get big. when i did mine bruce didnt give me enough bolts, nuts and washers for installing it cleanly (one unused hole for the stock track adjuster was left empty) so i went to the hardware and bought some stainless stuff to complete a cleaner install. it doesnt need the hole filled for strength, just for looks in my opinion but it doesnt hurt it to add the bolt for more strength too. ski

I agree with Ski the tracksusa rails are great and do fit snug with a little filing. I also filled all bolt holes and think they are the best ones that I have looked at! bought track and tunnel extension from Rich, and rails from Bruce. 02 VIPER 136 X 1-1/2 AND NEVER GOING BACK TO A SHORT TRACK! ..SNAKBIT..
