Trying to cure darting.
It seems that the thickness of a belt is too thick for the shim and I can't get the holes to line up to put it back together.
I need something thats about 1/8" or so thick. 1/4" is too much.
What have some of you guys used to do the shim install.

I used wood shim stock like you would use for a door jam or cabinets. It lasted me 170 miles so far if it falls out a was going to use nylon next. But the wood seems to be working. I tapped it in with a hammer then broke off on my 94 vmax
