96 secondary on a 94 need help
I recently got a 96 Vmax 600 XT secondary to put on my 94 Vmax 600 ST. What else do I need to do to make it work. Do I remove or add any spacers or washers. It is approxiametly 3/4 inch wider than the 94. What kinda offset should I have from primary or should it be lined up toward motor even with primary if yes what is needed to do so?

Go to a 96 Phazer parts list and get the mounting bolt and spacer, then shim it accordingly. Yes it will apppear wider, if it was from an XT it will have a 39 helix may be a little flat, try it, see how it runs you may want a 41

It was from a 96 500 XT. Has Black red spring at 70*

I would swap you I am looking for 1 from a xt I have 1 from a 600 dx 95-96 Let me know

The parts I need are on there way. I just have to remove 1 spacer between clutch and motor on jackshaft and everything will be set. snowdad4 was looking for a secondary I believe. I believe the secondary you have is the same as the XT except for the helix angle. I could be wrong. I have been in the past.

the helix on the one I have is a 90 .the other xt I have has a 30
