Need to rebuild my adj. struts on a 96 xt. Can I do this or do I send them out? If I send them out, who do I send them to?
I would try Maxx Perf or Bender. I have never done them but have heard of others.
FYI, Maxx and pioneer do not rebuild these. Maxx. suggested I take them to my dealer and they should be able to do it. Maybe I should just buy new?

I saw these new in a shade tree book at one time...you can try them or try Central Snowmobile salvage for used.

they are not rebuildable they have to be replaced ....i just did mine and its a good thing they have never been greased and they cant be greased unless you take them apart you can get the grease seals and any other parts you need from the dealer and do them your self....the hardest part is getting the ski boot off, nothing a big hammer wont solve... and getting the seals out just used a screwdriver and hammer also did the rubber boots at the same time on mine because they were bad should be nice and smooth ride this year
