vk professional bad in snow?

anyone having anyy problems with the new vk professional in deep snow, towing a load or just burnin the belts? had a customer come in today and say it was really bad in the deep snow, would like to give him a bit of help if possible.

willing to take any suggestions.

My uncle just bought a new VK Professional he is 6'3 and 260 lbs he says that if he was smaller there is no way that he would be able to control this thing in deep snow when it tips to one side, you have to really muscle it..He has owned VK's since 1990..He is not impressed with it in deep snow, everything else is great performance, gas mileage, ..No belt problems !!!! I think the new VK has lost some of it's edge as being able to go anywhere, more for the trails now!!!!!
 
I agree with Kyzer, these things are really big and heavy. I used to think the regular VKIII was big, but when compared to the professional, it looks tiny. Well preety much anythign looks small compared to the professional!

I think the purpose of the VK has changed to more of a trail sled or sled for a ski hill rather than a utility bush sled.
 
Gotta get a Bravo! :D I heard those things are go anywhere sleds as well. Wonder when they made the last one!
 
Ya, they still make the Bravo here but in the long track trapper version only. Mine is an 86 trapper and they look identical with the only noticeable differences in the larger bumper on the newer one, the crossbrace in the bars, the oil tank not being in glove compartment anymore. Not sure if its the same clutches but chances are they are still the same.

Yes they do go anywhere. Im stuck with my sled in slush a few years ago, burried right up to the tailight, and my bro drives 10 ft by me and just floats on top, then in the bush, wow, as long as you dont have to do any tight turns or steep hills, then sheel do fine.
