I havent heard anyone really commenting on putting different jets in there srx. I was thinking about jetting down my 98 srx700 since most other sleds out there you can jet down and have good results. Any comments would be appreciated.

In my SRX, I jetted down and I saw great results. Even with jetting down on the leanest year SRX (2000), Evertime I open up the motor, the thing is still pig rich.

before you do anything, I would take a long hard look at the inside of your motor and sparkplugs. It helps you make the choice.

so what are you looking for when you pull your plugs and look at them... how can you tell if your running to rich or lean?

If you are running to lean, the plugs will look white or a shade of white, if you are running to rich, the plugs will look wet and black. If you are tuned very well, your plugs will look a nice brown color.
