What do you mean better?
Stock exhaust gets better fuel mileage and has a wider torque range.
Tripple pipes give you a considerable amount of horsepower, narrows the torque range, and loses some gas mileage but i only find about 20 miles/ tank at most... and that is with a "somewhat" set up clutch... clutching also gives you better fuel mileage and can help make up for the narrower torque curve with the addition of pipes. Yamaha motors hold up extremely well to pipes, but it's your call on what you want to do. Personally i like pipes better than single, but it's purely opinion oriented and everybody else may think different.
Now if you are talking about an SRX with 3 into 3 stock, this is one of the strongest running sleds still to this day if setup properly.
