Saturdays ride came to a sudden stop when a rock jumped infront of me while ditch riding. The old vipe will be outta comission for awhile untill i get some funds to fixer up. So in the near future i'll be looking for upper radius rod(left) trailing arm(left),lower radius rod i can fix on the press. What pisses me off is that the tunnel tore at the rear pivot of the trailing arm, so i'll be doing some fabrication to get it ligned up properly. And a coolant leak to fix also.Looks like i might have to ride my 99'zr600 for abit till this gets fixed. :o| :o| :o|

Damn how big was the rock???

thats why i hate dich banging,,i let the brother in law blaze a trail
with the old '88 Exiter.:)

I had 114 miles on my 98 SRX, hit a RR track at 10mph and ended up with the same damage(- the windy ) $2800 . Wait till tomarrow, you might want to part it out after you see the 07's. Good Luck

i have a frame and radius rods, srxmaine has a lh trailing arm, do a de and re on the frame and be done with it

The windshield/dash and forced snow induction was already epoxied together , so it fell apart nicely as i flew through it. Just alittle sore on the left shoulder and hip.As for the rock, it was in the bottom of a reveen covered by a drift. And with the sugary snow we get i plowed right into it. It was the size of say,,,2 five gallons side by side and it was perfectly square. Oh well sh*# happens. I think there is snow in the forecast for our area this week too:( Guess i might have to ride the ZR600(aka Green Feces) as everyone knows it by.

Gees man sucks!. I also hit a rock this weekend but the only thing that got ruined on my sled was the trailing arm, got a little bent. Some guys told me that the trailing arm is made week so that incase you crase, the arm will bend, not the frame.. .

Wellwell good luck with the repair!.
