Do you mean acceleration? Low end, mid range or top end? The Phazer was never designed to be a screamer, it is however probably the most reliable snowmobile ever built! As with any sled once you start doing any type of mods to the engine/clutch you will comprimize its reliability! Boysen reeds are an exceptable mod that doesnt effect the reliability much. Tighten the secondary setting a little will give you a some better low end response. Change the gearing, down one tooth on top, up one on the bottom will give you better low and mid range. This will however could effect your overall top end.
Good Luck!

There are plenty of things you can do to your phazer to make more power and keep it reliable as a stock motor but they need to be done properly. Phazer motors are Very prone to running lean in the mid range with the addition of a aftermarket pipe. Carb mods are required to keep the A/F ratio in the safe zone. DO NOT modify or remove the air box for any reason!! search and read some of the other posts as this subject has been gone over quite a bit.
