Viper crank assembly

I blew the center cylinder connecting rod on my 02 viper this weekend.
It looks like yamaha sells individual crank parts and I am wondering if it is possible to repair only the single crank jornal which is damaged.
Does anyone know how hard it is to do a repair like this.

it's possible, but it's not fun, and you need access to a good quality press, a good set of torches, and alot of patients.

honestly, for what atelier adrien bedard charges for a fully rebuilt one, it's hardly worth screwing with it.
