I see they have electronic reverse now, does the engine run backwards like the Doo's or is a servo of some sort attached to a mechanical linkage.

Your #1 performance shop!
It is a electric servo motor that activates the reverse gear in the chaincase.

Pricing
Attak GT = $11,499
Attak = $10,499
Electric Ohlins Rear shock, GYT-R Front shocks looks to be the only difference for the bling..... adjuster for the rear suspension is on the handlebar at your left thumb on the GT....pretty much the same color schematics as this years APEX GT for the Attack GT

Tell me about the clutch. Per Yamaha's site it's a "YPZ, Variable Ratio, Electronic Shift". Electronic Shift?

I noticed the secondary clutch immediately on the new Phazer. It looks like the old enclosed YPZ clutch Yamaha ran for years on the old Phazers, Exciters, SRV's and '94 V-Max's. I said something to one of the Yamaha guys right away about going back in time on the clutch and he kind of cringed. Said it was a weight issue. Probaly $$ too.
