Its a good kit
I did one on my Viper. It is a good kit and Mtn Perf is good to work with. Let me know if you want to buy one all ready to go. Here's a pic. Mine is a 144 tunnel but I'm running a 136. Could easily be converted to a 144 with the Expert since it would just be a "set back" relocation.

thanks alot guys!...i just got off the phone with a tech guy from mountainperformance.....really informative help they are!.. .i think im going to go with the 159 tunnel from mountain performance because it comes with the chaincase that relocates the jackshaft into the tunnel...it seems like a really good quality kit that is specific to my 01 SRX

for doing the tunnel is it a total need to have a pneumatic rivet gun ? whats its difference from using a hand operated riveter?...snowdad4 said:been there, done that. be patient! if you dont have a pneumatic rivet gun, borrow, rent or buy one. rivets, rivets, rivets!

what he is sayin is that they use really heavy duty rivets. i know the ones for my rear cooler where a b**ch to do with the hand riviter.

I have the MPI/Eckholm Tunnel. It's a 151 tunnel. I love it. The drop and roll is a nice improvement.

When you talked to MPI, did they have any tunnels available right now, or are they still backordered?
