I have a quick question. I own a 2001 vmax with 2004 viper shocks all around. The guy I bought the sled from was about 190, I weigh about 230. When I first rode it, it would not steer at all. I found the limiter straps were let out to thier max so I tightened them up about a 1/4 inch. Is that about where they should be?? Second when I sit on the sled it seems to sink too far in the very rear. It's like the middle shock is a fixed point and the seld just sinks in the very rear. The front end however does not seem to lift up at all. I already adjusted the rear shock to the top (stiff) point on the adjuster but I have not noticed any difference. What do I need to do exactly to get the rear to hold me up alittle better without stiffening the suspension too much?? Do I tighten the rear spring or is it about right for the rear to sink. I could just be too fat I don't really know!!
