i bought a sled from bender that was built by them, trail ported etc.the problem is the flanges where the pipes go onto the motor flanges, i have to spead the springs way past the point of stretch, all the part numbers on the flanges that come of the motor are the same part number from 98 to 02 including the 600, i looked a buddys 98 700 srx and the spring holders are alot farther ahead than mine, why would mine be so far back? anyone?

i would bet bender has it's srx big bore pipes on there not the stockers, thats why the spring holders are in a different position. call bender see if they have a replacement spring kit available for their big bore pipes. good luck, tell us how it comes out. ski
