94-vmax skid replacement

i would like to replace the old vmax 121 skid with a more modern one . what would be likely canidates. year and type of sled would be appreciated. what one would be the less for mods,etc. thanks in advance . i like this site its cool. p.s. if i replace the skid im going to see if the old one will fit under my 197 9 440 kawasiki intruder.its a cool sled but hard on the old back.
