here's a couple pics of my sled. I've been a member for almost three years now and never had a scanner or digital camera. I just got a digital cam this past weekend so I decided it was finally time to get some pics up here for everyone to see.....Specifically JWIFFERDILL!......here ya go Neil....enjoy!
There are some obvious cosmetic changes on my sled that I am sure everyone will pick out right away.......I never liked the "small" graphics on the 98-99 models.....so I opted to go with the '00 SRX stickers. I also blasted the trailing arms and radius rods and repainted them silver as on the '01 and '02's........it has a .91 lug track from a '00 T-cat with 240 studs. Some clutching work....other than that...its stock now......put my stock silencer back on it along with the stock reed cages with Carbon Tech reeds in place of the V-Force 2's. I miss the way it used to sound with the MBRP can.....but its ALOT nicer on longer rides...by the end of the day you're not hearing that "droning" sound in your head....even after you shut the sled off.
It's in need of a bath......and you can see that even with the limited riding we've got to do this year, its still pretty dirty......but come spring the tunnel is going to be stripped and polished, A BOSS seat is in its future, and maybe a 1 1/4" track too.
