ok i have a bender silencer on my sx700

i did some searching and there is alot of bad talk about them, are they really bad, should i run my stock can.

would my stock can borred bring my more power.
 
the only thing bad is the noise, I had a bender om my 97 and loved it, but everyone I rode with hated it, that thing was loud. in some states you can't run anything but stock because of noise issues. I have a mbrp on now and my friends and I both like it , alot quieter, but still nice.
 
the only thing i noticed is it feels like i have a drop in power at midrange, but low end is mint with the can.

so would my stock can borred bring my more power
 
where I noticed the power was in the midrange to top end do you have the race or the trail can? on benders site they say like 7 hp in midrange and 3 hp on top, so losing power in the midrange sounds goofy to me.
