As long as you have that 700 conversion running good and hooking up good I don't think you'll have any problems beating him. A set of transfer rods would help the sled hookup better too. The longer the race, the more of an advantage you have. Keep that in mind. Make sure you race him on hardpack or ice. I'm sure you planned on it anyway.

Race him anywhere. I'd be willing to bet you could take him if you stayed stock. You have tripples and powervalves right? I yad a 2000 Zr 700 and that thing was a joke! THe cat dealer actually told me that if you look inside a 91 wildcat it is the exact same motor. They were all left overs that arctic cat decided to put them in new chasse and call it good. My father in law had a 2001 arctic cat touring 600 long track and it had the tripple pipes and powervalves and he would straight smoke me and he also weighs about 70 pounds more than I do. Trust me dont worrry about it youll smoke him as long as you sled is performing correctly.
