98 vmax 700 xtc, 136 inch ripsaw, 8800 miles, aaen pipes, reed spacers, 147.5 mains, 40 pilots, needles #1. 2.5, #2/3 3, fuel screws 2 out. Just returned from a week of riding. 600 miles of boondocking and hill climbing. Everything was fine for 450 miles and then started fouling number #1 plug. As long as I kept the sled on the needle I was fine. Once I went wot the #1 cylinder went dead with a wet plug. I'm thinking bad reed petal. Any other thoughts before I pull the carbs? Thanks a bunch guys.
