I didn't realize that this was supposed to be a 2-cylinder motor! I can understand the width issue, but there is obviously no weight savings and the hp #'s are not competative. This machine will enter the market in direct competition with the Vector/Genesis 120 series sleds and will allready have a serious weight dissadvantage, not to mention the fact that Yamaha is several years ahead of them in the engineering dept.. I think it's great to see Cat embrace the 4-stroke idea, but I really wonder if they're barking up the wrong tree with this one.

How smooth will that big of 2 cylinder be? - being a twin has to hurt it's HP - not to mention it won't rev as fast - all of those moving parts look like "call back city!"

I like all th emoving parts. it exactly why my father is still riding his old 02 vmax and his 05 vector is for sale. the vector is a great sled and he likes everythign about it, but he is too small for it. he cant get comfortable on a sled that is built for someone that is at LEAST my size, and I am 4-5 inches taller than him. he cant sit on the seat, put his feet in the wells and reach the handlebars in a comfortable and natural position. to me, this is a great idea and the phazer is useless. wow, that hurts to say........I think I am going to go be sick now
lol! some good ideas, but the motor makes no sense to me on that cat
