RE: Crankshaft runout question on 1980 SRX440
Hey guys, I just took my crank to a buddy with a set of V-blocks and dial indicater to get my runout checked, I have one thous on the mag side and two and a half on the clutch side, this is the best we could get it, It was 12 thous out on the crank side, ouch, max spec says 2 thous, should I be ok or should I get it sent to a professional to get straightened more? also on the connecting rods there are one small spacer on each side of one rod, and the other rod has one small spacer and one larger one, this side also has more side clearance but is withn spec, any thoughts???
