id say rejet back to stock and take anotehr layer out of the gasket leave only one(run 92 oct though). will wake up teh sled even more. im not to great with jeting but id say stock is ur best bet agenst burndown.
Those sleds are notoruously rich. I have owned 4 of em. If mains are close to 142ish you won,t burn down on good fuel ; even at -15.

141.3's and 143.8 mag side. Ran this setup with 1 layer pealed with the stock pipe for about 5000 miles on premium only. Rarely fouled plugs and still on the snow.I dont know HP difference but lots better throttle response. Can you really peel 2 layers off and run with only 1 Terret? Low elevation

i have a 2000 sxr 700 so same motor and i have one layer removed from the head gasket and jetted down 1 size on the mains one size on the pilots and a half clip position down on the needles and it still runs rich even at minus 18 celius i would say leave it alone and enjoy would be an idea to just check what the mains are if it's down one size it should be 142.5 142.5 and 143.8. i would suggest running premium in it though if you're gonna leave it that way. but like i said that's how mine is set up and i've had no problems whatsoever every time i pull the plugs they are perfect.
I'd leave it and n otch the reed cages. Maxdlx
