Get the clutch off, Get a 1/2 all thread rod 2 washers 2 nuts tighten them up, start loosening the clutch bolts, then just loosen up the 1/2 nuts so it does not spring out on you!

well I think you have to take that to a dealer but not for sure these guys should know but I think it is tough!
You can use your imagination to build a tool, make sure its beefy, they are very tight. You need some sort of plate with three pegs/bolts in it to hold the stationary sheeve, then you need another piece that can grab onto the three legs of the spider.
One of the pieces needs to be able to be put into a vice or mounted to a bench and the other needs about a 4' bar to for you to pull on. It is a left-handed thread.

so its reverse thread like a bbq tank.
I was thinking of taking a peace of 1/4 plate drilling 3 holes for bolts, then bolting on a hanle from square stock or welding it on. then taking some threaded rod, thread it in to the sheave add to lock nuts and place that in a vice then i can use the pin thing to pry on it.

You gotta heat the centre also. The parts are loctighted together. Be careful...I have seen a ton of em break spiders with guys building their own tools & not knowing what is going on.

Here is a pic of the tool I made. I cut (3) 1" square tubing pieces 2" long and clamped them to the spider where I wanted them to ride and then i just welded the handle to the tubing. It was very simple and i thought it worked well. I just used the threaded holes it the back of the fixed sheave to bolt the clutch to the bench.

I had to replace my cracked moveable sheave before it exploded. From what I hear that is not a good thing.
