Hood Damage
this dumb A$$ attack resulted in a pile on an icy corner after frustration from fouled plugs. so now i am wondering whether or not the plastic piece that holds the windy can be replaced w/ out replacing the entire hood. also what about the piece that holds the instruments. needless to say i had a crappy afternoon saturday. man i even reached down and grabbed the choke and broke it too....what a day

Yes, that black piece(pod) can be replaced without replacing the hood. That same piece holds the guages too.
you can try to fix your hood with "fiberglass" and polyester mix.. sorry not sure if its correct english... ^
but its the same stuff you use to fix small boats and so on.. i used it on a zrt that had smashed the hood, and now it looks fine.. you use it on the inside of course and its very strong..
