I have a 2006 rage that has 180 miles on good snow that the hyfax is way worn down . I purchased the kx411667 wheels to replace the front stock set but no way will they go on as the stock set have very large diameter centers with no shim sleeves . These new wheels are to replace the 4 stock front lower one's to move the track away from the hyfax to let snow in as they are larger in diameter . Anybody have any ideas as to what would fit this sled . Rich

What are these wheels?, if theyre the hyfax savers ones, then they go on along with the stock wheels in a different location in the rails.
Also, there are so many things you can do to save yuor hyfax, my dad has an identical sled to yours. Ok, the stock sliders are wider then the regular 2-stroke yammies, so you can just put the narrower ones on in place of your stock ones. This will help hyfax wear in that more snow is able to sneak through the track windows.
Then you can also, fully clip and punch all the windows in your track, but this is a big job.
You can also decrease track tension, but will most likely ractchet under power if you do loosen the track off. Your best bet is with cutting the windows out and clipping the track fully. You can also get a set if ice scratchers for your sled if you choose.
