2 years ago I took my Viper to Wohlfeils Yamaha of Saginaw,MI for a simple clean and season prep. I got it back and it barely ran, blowing black smoke and backfiring like my brother in law on bean salad. I took it back again and was charged another hundred bux so they could "re-adjust" the carbs. I got it back and went through plugs like my ex-wife goes through donuts. I took it back again and they "re-adjusted and cleaned the carbs". I took it out again and noticed no changes. I contacted Yamaha and the rep could do little for me. I rode the next season replacing plugs and listening to the backfiring. This year, I took my sled to Lindy's Yamaha in Quanicassee,MI. Dave spent an hour and 20 minutes on it and it was ready. He stated he couldn't test it because there wasn't any snow. I was scared. I loaded up and took my newly, non-tested snowmobile to Cadillac,MI and tell you she runs like a cheetah, only faster. WOW, I forgot what a Yammie should run like and was deeply impressed. If you live in the area, I highly recommend Dave at LIndys.

We should have a Forum section dedicated to stories of great treatment by dealers, mechanics, resorts and other snowmobile-friendly people and businesses. We need to promote and support all these people who make our lives easier, and this would be a great way to do it.
