I got the 53/43 and green spring at 70' on my 03 viper and now I cant get close to the speed I was getting last year at stock. I am going back to stock but was wondering what the wrap was on the stock spring. Thanks.

if the top rpm's went down (probably did) then top speed will be lower.

I have heelclickers with 48/40 Helix & green secondary and seem to be reving at 8400 like you. I also have seen a drop in top end. Ive played with the weights and secondary wrap and now see 8500 to 8600 and at least a 5 to 8 mph gain. I still was faster with the stock set up at a 8800 rev.
I still think 8400 on top is to low and think the viper is faster and happy at least 8700 on top.

8400 is correct for the Viper. I think more power comes at 8500-8600, as I have tried several set ups including heel clickers and that were I run faster.

First set the geen secondary at 50', the take out weight in the primary until you see 8500 @ 30mph throttle stab, then climbing to 8700 on a top speed run. you will be rocking fast. Too much secondary spring is killing you. Set it up on a lake with light snow conditions if possible, and make sure your jetting is close before you start. Even the red secondary, set at 70 would be better than the silver for top speed. silver will work for trails were top speed is not an issue.
